The greatest gift you can offer to this world is to be you — the truest you. Shed all your layers and you’ll discover that you are peace, you are creation, you are love, and you are first and foremost whole.
But it’s hard these days to find ourselves, especially with the distractions around us — most of which are sending us messages, directly or indirectly, instilling fear.
Fear that we are not attractive enough, wealthy enough, worthy enough, safe enough, secure enough, successful enough…the list goes on.
This fear sneaks up on us when we are most vulnerable, which is when we forget who we are, and that we are, have always been, and will always be, whole. In our desperate attempts to feel complete, we seek temporary comforts by consuming, coping, escaping, and trying everything we can to remove that deep feeling of discomfort.
How can we see our true naked selves when we are so busy covering up who we are with the products we buy, the photos we modify, the half-truths we tell…?
Being aware of our true selves can help us transform our own fears into deep compassion. By choosing to be seated in our innate power and wisdom, we are changing the world.
We cannot control our environment, but we can make a choice around the information we digest, the narratives we believe in, and the way we show up for ourselves and others.
But you know what? It’s all a beautiful and necessary experience — to get lost only to return home again. None of us are ever truly lost forever. We all have an innate wisdom, called intuition, that gives us this annoying itch when we’ve tread too far from our true selves. Everyone has the ability to rediscover their inner nature, and the journey of discovering or rediscovering ourselves is what makes life interesting.
